To quit, control-click or right-click on any of Barquee's menubar buttons, or click and hold the play/pause button. Select "Quit" from the menu that appears. Barquee can also automatically start and quit with iTunes by clicking the "Auto-Start" option in the "Advanced" section of Barquee's preferences.
To change Barquee's preferences, control-click or right-click on any of Barquee's menubar buttons, or click and hold the play/pause button. Select "Preferences..." from the menu that appears.
To change a song's rating. Option-click the song's title in the menubar and click on the number of stars you want it to have. After a few moments the menubar will switch back.
To change the song location, command-click the song's title in the menubar. After a few moments the menubar will switch back.
To change Barquee's appearance, go to preferences then select "Appearance". You can modify the displayed information by typing in tags into the supplied text field, and modify the fonts and colors used by selecting text and clicking the color or text format buttons.
To install a theme, double click it and Barquee will attempt to install it. To install a theme manually, copy the .barqueetheme file into /Library/Application Support/Barquee. If the folder does not exist, create it. Barquee will need to be restarted for the theme appear in Barquee's preferences.
Hotkeys require at least one modifier (Shift, Command, Control, Option) key. F-keys are an exception, they can be used without modifiers.
Mac OS X automatically hides Barquee when it is too wide and bumps into an application's menu space. To keep Barquee from disappearing, go to Barquee's preferences, then click the Advanced button, then reduce the "Maximum Width" slider until Baruqee re-appears.
To Uninstall Barquee, drag the Barquee Application to the trash. Barquee also installs an iTunes plugin in /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/ which can also be dragged right to the trash. Barquee themes are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Barquee/
